Mikrotik MTCSE (MikroTik Certified Security Engineer)

MikroTik Certified Security Engineer is an engineering-level training covering issues related to network infrastructure security.
During the training, participants will learn the principles and good configuration practices: firewall, bridge filter, router management access restrictions, and learn how to configure VPN connections. All this is presented in a form combining theory and practice. Laboratories are exercises showing how to defend infrastructure against specific types of network attacks.
At the end students can try themselves in the official Mikrotik MTCSE exam.

Course prerequisites:

  • Completed Mikrotik MTCNA course

During training students will learn about:

  • Attacks, mechanisms and services
  • The most common threats
  • Attacks detecting
  • L2 layer filtering
  • Advanced configuration of IP->Firewall
  • Port knocking
  • Brute-force attacks
  • Port scan detection and prevention
  • Encryption methods
    • Encryption types,
    • Public Key infrastructue - PKI
  • Tunnels:
    • L2TP/IPsec,
    • IPSec,
    • SSTP with certificates

  • UDP
  • ICMP
  • FTP
  • SSH

Course duration:

  • 3 days (3 x 8 hours)
