The MWTC training offer covers the full range of knowledge needed for every administrator of MikroTik devices. The trainings will certainly interest everyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of computer networks. The classes discuss both theoretical aspects, practical parts (laboratories) are made on real devices. These trainings are an interesting alternative to much more expensive trainings of other vendors. We also organize closed trainings dedicated to customer needs.
Basic training, opening the path of certified MikroTik trainings. During three days, participants will learn about most of the MikroTik RouterOS functionalities, including backup, upgrade, bridge, static routing, firewall, QoS, VPN, Wireless, and diagnostic tools. The training is dedicated to everyone who wants to start their adventure with RouterOS, as well as to more experienced people who want to verify and / or learn good practices. Training is required for the approach to the certification of engineering (other training from the offer).
Higher level training, supplementing knowledge of static routing with advanced scenarios (including recursive routing, policy base routing). The concept of dynamic routing will be discussed on the example of OSPFv2. Overview of VPN technology along with practical tasks on which participants will configure a multi-branch VPN connection in conjunction with dynamic OSPF routing. The next exercise will be a VPN set up enabling L2 transmission (PPP BCP). Other issues discussed: VLAN (virtual local area network), bonding (port aggregation), VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol).
MikroTik Certified Security Engineer is an engineering-level training covering issues related to network infrastructure security. During the training, participants will learn the principles and good configuration practices: firewall, bridge filter, router management access restrictions, and learn how to configure VPN connections. All this is presented in a form combining theory and practice. Laboratories are exercises showing how to defend infrastructure against specific types of network attacks.
MikroTik Certified Wireless Engineer is a training focused on wireless data transmission. Extensive theoretical introduction regarding the construction of wireless networks will allow participants to efficiently design and diagnose problems in wireless networks. In addition to the standard set of 802.11 protocols, MikroTik solutions will be discussed: Nstreme, Nstreme Dual, NV2. Participants have the option of building point-to-point and point-to-multipoint connections and their subsequent optimization and verification of the process.
MikroTik Certified Traffic Control Engineer, as a specialized training, is addressed to people who want to learn about the methods of shaping and managing traffic in IP networks. The training discusses in detail the optimal use of the Mangle mechanism and the use of traffic queuing (QoS) functionality. Practical exercises will allow participants to independently configure and verify previously discussed issues. Additional functionalities of the RouterOS system will also be discussed: DHCP Relay, DNS cache and web-proxy.
Due to the IPv4 address deficit, administrators are increasingly implementing IPv6 addressing in their networks. At the MTCIPv6E training, participants will learn how to work with IPv6 addresses: create entries in routing tables, configure a firewall, assign addresses for end devices, set up secure connections (VPN) between company branches. The concept of migration from IPv4 to IPv6 available to users of the RouterOS system will be presented.
Certified User Management Engineer is a two-day training at the engineering level. During classes, participants have the opportunity to learn about advanced PPP and PPPoE configurations and L2 support on MikroTik devices. In addition, the hotspot mechanism will be presented along with the user-manager (Radius Server - an additional package in RouterOS). The last training module is the subject of tunnels on the example of IPsec.
Advanced training for people with MTCRE certification and knowledge. In class, students learn about dynamic routing using the iBGP and eBGP protocols, tunneling client traffic in the operator's network: VPLS, L3 VPN, TE (Traffic Engineering). The training is intended for employees of small and medium operators (MiŚOT) using MikroTik RouterOS solutions in their networks.
Advanced training devoted to the second layer of the OSI model. During the training, topics such as VLAN, STP (Spanning Tree) protocols, link aggregation, PoE options, 802.1x, and many others will be discussed and practiced. This training is a unique opportunity to dispel doubts about MTU. The training is based on the latest CRS 3xx series switches.
Wireless networks in homes, offices, cafes and urban spaces are no longer just single devices, but WiFi network systems consisting of multiple APs working within one wireless network managed from one central point called the controller. During the training, participants will become familiar with the controller (CAPsMAN) service. During the course the functionality of the wireless network controller and additional elements such as the HOTSPOT mechanism will be discussed. Participants will implement advanced scenarios: multiple SSID networks, work with VLANs, installation of the controller in the cloud (VPS), Access List, use of the HotSpot central user base (Radius user-manager) and personalization of the welcome page.
The workshops are intended for people who already have a solid foundation in the configuration of MikroTik devices, wanting to broaden their knowledge and learn how to extend the functionality of the RouterOS system, introduce task automation and much more. During the workshop, participants will learn the scripting syntax from scratch. Participants will learn what scope is, what types of data, types of operators are and how to write and use functions. The principle of scripts operation and methods of running them will be presented (e.g. in response to an event at specific times of the day). All scripts written during the workshops will be used in the daily work of the RouterOS administrator.
Zabbix is currently the world's most popular, trusted by community, complete system for monitoring the IT environment. Zabbix certified training is the best way to quickly gain competence in the field of implementation, configuration and maintenance of the system. The full training path consists of four courses: Zabbix Certified User, Zabbix Certified Specialist, Zabbix Certified Professional and Zabbix Certified Expert. Classes conducted by a certified trainer guarantee knowledge in accordance with the official Zabbix training program.
Zabbix Certified User is a training directed at the personnel operating the system that has been fully configured previously. Recommended for employees of customer service centers, people using Zabbix to verify reports and direct incidents to technical departments. The training is an online training, lasts one day and is completed by the ZCU exam.
The most popular Zabbix certified training. During the classes, participants will learn about the architecture of Zabbix system, carry out the installation of the system and its components, configure monitored hosts, carry out data collection and visualization, set up a notification mechanism, learn how to use LLD to automatically detect and monitor services, interfaces, drives of observed systems. The training gives comprehensive knowledge enabling the implementation of Zabbix solution in a small and medium company, lasts five days and is completed with a ZCS exam.
During the training, participants will learn how to scale the Zabbix solution in distributed monitoring scenarios using Zabbix Proxy. Good communication practices between various system components will be discussed: Zabbix Server, Zabbix Agent, Zabbix Proxy using encryption. Participants will face more advanced monitoring scenarios: VMware cluster, auto-detection (e.g. network interfaces) of SNMP, SQL monitoring (ODBC), monitoring of JAVA applications. The training is dedicated to Zabbix administrators with a minimum of 6 months experience. The training lasts three days and is completed with a ZCP exam.
Top-level training in Zabbix. During the training, topics related to API, high availability (HA / DR) and database partitioning, compilation of system components from sources, integration with SELinux, IPMI are discussed in detail. As an alternative to the Apache server, the participant will configure the NGINX server together with the SSL certificate, and will use ElasticSearch as the backend for historical data. Participation requirement is ZCS + ZCP and extensive experience in Zabbix configuration in medium and large ecosystems. The training lasts five days and is completed with a ZCE exam.
